Terms & Conditions, Release of Liability, and Registration Agreement

By registering for Origins (“Event”), the attendee (“Attendee”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Registration, Attendance & Waitlist Policy
Origins is an intentionally curated leadership experience with limited capacity. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is confirmed only upon receipt of a completed registration and full payment.

Because attendance is limited, registration shall not be considered reserved until payment has been received and confirmed by the Organizer.

Once all available participant spaces have been filled, additional interested individuals may be placed on a waitlist. If a registered attendee cancels or otherwise becomes unable to attend, the Organizer may offer the available space to an individual on the waitlist at its sole discretion.

Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee admission to the Event.

The Organizer reserves the right to approve, decline, revoke, or cancel registrations as necessary to preserve the intended experience, culture, values, and objectives of Origins.

2. Payment & Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Due to the limited capacity of the Event, the curated nature of attendance, and the financial commitments made in advance to secure accommodations, meals, activities, venues, and event services, all registration fees are non-refundable.

If an Attendee is unable to attend, written notice of cancellation must be provided to the Organizer as soon as reasonably possible.

If the Organizer is able to fill the Attendee’s space with another qualified participant who completes registration and submits full payment, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund of the registration fee less a $250 administrative processing fee.

No refund will be provided if the Attendee’s space cannot be filled.

Failure to attend the Event for any reason, including but not limited to illness, family emergencies, work obligations, travel disruptions, weather conditions, transportation delays, personal circumstances, or other unforeseen events, shall not entitle the Attendee to a refund.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance.

3. Event Changes & Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, substitute, reschedule, relocate, or otherwise change any aspect of the Event as reasonably necessary, including but not limited to the Event schedule, speakers, facilitators, activities, programming, accommodations, meals, venues, entertainment, wellness offerings, or other Event-related services.

The Organizer reserves the right to make participant experience enhancements, programming additions, speaker substitutions, hospitality upgrades, or operational adjustments without prior notice.

While every effort will be made to deliver the Event substantially as described, Attendees acknowledge that changes may occur due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control, operational considerations, participant availability, venue requirements, weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen factors.

Such modifications shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, withdrawal, chargeback, or refund.

In the unlikely event that the Organizer elects to cancel the Event in its entirety, the Organizer’s sole obligation shall be limited to refunding registration fees actually paid by Attendees.

Under no circumstances shall the Organizer be responsible for any additional costs, expenses, losses, or damages incurred by Attendees as a result of the cancellation, postponement, relocation, or modification of the Event, including but not limited to airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, travel insurance, lost wages, lost business opportunities, or other travel-related or incidental expenses.

The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or reschedule the Event when circumstances reasonably warrant such action. In such cases, registration fees may be transferred to the rescheduled Event date at the Organizer’s discretion.

4. Photography, Video Recording & Media Release
Origins may be photographed, filmed, recorded, livestreamed, or otherwise documented during the course of the Event.

By registering for and attending Origins, Attendees acknowledge and agree that they are granting Compass Creative Consultants, Origins, its affiliates, representatives, contractors, and authorized partners an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph, record, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, modify, edit, and otherwise use their name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and statements captured during the Event for promotional, educational, marketing, advertising, editorial, public relations, social media, website, and future Event-related purposes in any media now known or later developed.

Attendees acknowledge that no compensation, royalties, ownership rights, or additional approvals shall be required for such use.

Attendees waive any right to inspect or approve finished materials and release the Organizer from any claims relating to privacy rights, rights of publicity, defamation, or other claims arising from the authorized use of such materials.

Attendance at Origins constitutes acceptance of this Photography, Video Recording, and Media Release.

Individuals with significant privacy concerns are encouraged to contact the Organizer prior to registration; however, the Organizer cannot guarantee that Attendees will not appear incidentally in group photographs, video recordings, or other Event documentation.

5. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Attendees acknowledge that participation in Origins may involve inherent risks associated with travel, transportation, outdoor activities, wellness activities, physical movement, recreational activities, food and beverage consumption, interactions with other attendees, and the use of third-party venues, accommodations, and service providers.

Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Event and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or expense that may occur before, during, or after the Event.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attendees release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Compass Creative Consultants, Origins, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, facilitators, speakers, volunteers, venue partners, vendors, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or causes of action arising from or related to attendance at or participation in the Event, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, emotional distress, property damage, or economic loss.

6. Alcohol Consumption & Personal Responsibility
Alcoholic beverages may be served or made available during certain portions of Origins, including but not limited to receptions, meals, social gatherings, hosted experiences, winery visits, and networking events.

Participation in any activity involving alcohol and the consumption of alcoholic beverages is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the Attendee’s sole discretion and risk.

Attendees agree to consume alcohol responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and venue policies. Each Attendee accepts full responsibility for their own actions, decisions, conduct, judgment, transportation arrangements, personal safety, and well-being before, during, and after any Event at which alcohol is available.

Attendees acknowledge that alcohol may impair judgment, coordination, and decision-making and agree not to operate a motor vehicle or engage in unsafe activities while under the influence of alcohol.

The Organizer does not monitor or control individual alcohol consumption and assumes no responsibility for the actions, behavior, decisions, health consequences, injuries, accidents, illnesses, property damage, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to an Attendee’s consumption of alcohol.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attendees release and hold harmless Compass Creative Consultants, Origins, its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, venue partners, vendors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the Attendee’s consumption of alcohol or conduct while under the influence of alcohol.

The Organizer reserves the right to refuse alcohol service, restrict participation in activities, arrange alternative transportation, or remove an Attendee from the Event without refund if the Attendee’s alcohol consumption creates a safety concern for themselves or others.

Origins is designed to foster meaningful connection, authentic conversation, professional collaboration, and the open exchange of ideas among attendees.

Attendees agree to respect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of fellow participants and to exercise appropriate discretion regarding personal stories, professional experiences, business discussions, proprietary information, sensitive topics, and other information shared during the Event.

While Origins is not intended to create a formal legal confidentiality obligation among attendees, participants are expected to honor the spirit of trust upon which the experience is built and refrain from sharing, publishing, recording, distributing, or publicly attributing confidential, personal, or sensitive information shared by another attendee without that individual’s express permission.

Attendees further agree not to audio record, video record, livestream, or otherwise capture presentations, discussions, workshops, or participant conversations for commercial or public distribution without prior written consent from the Organizer.

All Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and in a manner consistent with the values and intended environment of the Event.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, disruptive behavior, excessive intoxication, unwanted solicitation, inappropriate conduct, or any behavior that negatively impacts the experience, safety, comfort, or well-being of other participants will not be tolerated.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any Attendee from the Event, without warning and without refund, if the Organizer determines, in its sole discretion, that the Attendee’s conduct is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, harassing, discriminatory, excessively intoxicated, or otherwise inconsistent with the experience Origins seeks to create.

9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Organizer’s total liability exceed the amount of registration fees actually paid by the Attendee.

Under no circumstances shall the Organizer be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost business opportunities, reputational harm, emotional distress, travel expenses, lodging costs, or other related losses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attendees waive any objection to venue or forum and agree not to initiate legal proceedings in any other jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Attendee and the Organizer with respect to participation in Origins and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, discussions, representations, understandings, marketing materials, promotional content, proposals, or agreements, whether oral or written.

No waiver, modification, amendment, or addition to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless made in writing and expressly approved by the Organizer.
